  • Is your sleep restless?

NEW PATIENTS

Not a Diet, But Your Life Journey

Keto. Paleo. Intermittent fasting. Given the dizzying amount of diets that are being touted these days, you may be wondering which approach is right for you. At Oxford Wellness Clinic, we don’t provide our clients with a particular diet. Why? Because a diet has a start point and an endpoint. Our approach is that holistic nutrition is a way of life, not a bandage or short-term fix. We want to bring long-term sustainability into each client’s lifestyle.

Don’t start a diet that has an expiration date. Develop healthy lifestyle habits that will last forever!

Get Strong and Healthy With Our Fitness Programs

We offer two fitness programs. One is a 12-week program that’s geared toward the fitness side of getting stronger and healthier. The other program targets the glutes and core. You may have heard the saying, “sitting is the new smoking.” We agree; that’s why we emphasize the necessity of regular movement.

Our Nutrition Programs

To get started, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to all clinic patients interested in nutrition coaching services. Suzanne, our wellness nutritionist, would ask you what brought you to this point. What is going on in your life that you want to understand a bit more about nutrition? It gives Suzanne time to put together the package of what you’re looking for-what support tools she needs to provide based on your goals.

This consult also gives you an opportunity to discuss where you are in terms of health, wellness and nutrition and ask questions. From there, we will determine together which package best suits your needs, interests and goals. We offer email and phone support depending on what your needs are. With this option, you can get valuable guidance and direction to help jump-start your nutrition program.

FAQs

Do you offer monthly plans after I complete a program?

Yes.

Do you recommend a particular diet and fitness guidance?

We can provide a customized way of eating versus recommending a specific diet to address your unique health needs and goals. You will be given sample meal plans and some snack ideas. We can also provide eBooks on meal prepping and what macronutrients are. Guidance for physical activity is also available.

Why is it important to be a label reader?

We talk a lot about sugar and why it’s so detrimental to health. We’re not referring to tablespoons of granulated sugar, but sugar in different aliases such as corn syrup, fructose, etc. We want to help clients read labels to identify these other names for sugar. We also have an easy guideline when shopping at the grocery store-if you can’t read the words or know what those multisyllabic ingredients are, don’t buy it because it’s not real food.

What if I have a setback on my program?

If you veer off your program for a day or even week, don’t be hard on yourself. Suzanne tells clients that you don’t ever start over. You just continue; there is no beginning and end.

Do you refer your clients to Dr. Roshni Sidhu?

Yes, many times, Suzanne will refer clients to Dr. Sidhu. Because Suzanne isn’t a doctor, she can’t diagnose a particular condition. She can, however, partner with Dr. Sidhu to help address a client’s particular condition such as IBS, for example.

Do you offer Zoom calls due to the pandemic?

We want to ensure that all of our clients are safe during the pandemic. That’s why all our meetings are offered via Zoom.
